For your dog

A behaviour consultation covers a wide range of behaviours including (but not limited to) reactivity, barking, anxiety and much more. A session will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, during which time we will discuss your dog’s history, the issues you are having and I’ll develop a training plan. We will look through the training plan together and work through any practical training required. I will provide a full written report of our discussion including the training instructions.

These sessions are great if you don’t need a full behavioural consultation. During each session we will look at the skills you would like to teach your dog and tailor the sessions to suit. The sessions can be at your home or at a variety of locations depending on the issue. One on One sessions are great for looking at basic skills such as recall, loose lead walking, jumping up and much more. I also offer a package of sessions at a discounted price to the normal One on One Price. You will receive a brief follow up email after each session detailing what we have covered. One on One sessions are for everyone – whether you’re totally new to dog training, want to learn a few extra skills or just want your dog to expand on behaviours they already know.

1 Hour – $105

4 x 1 hour sessions (package) – $380

This program is for dogs over 16 weeks old. During the course we will look at taking basic behaviours to the next level, body language and how your dogs learn. The program has a strong focus on loose lead walking, recall, focusing on you and settling around distractions. The aim of this course is to help your dogs learn how to cope in the ‘real world’. This course is held outdoors in Samford Village and runs for 6 weeks in a class setting.

I have recently decided to offer online consultation services. With everything that has happened over the last 18 months it has highlighted how important it is for us to have a back-up plan if we are unable to leave the house and meet in person for sessions. This service is currently available for One on One sessions and Behaviour Consultations. I am able to conduct this service via Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or Messenger. This is great for anyone who is having to self-isolate or if you are outside of my training area. It is also great for dogs that perhaps struggle with new people coming into the home or don’t cope very well in new places.
